If you are planning to polish your vehicle, you may want to wipe your vehicle down after polishing with a 50/50 IPA (Alcohol/ Water solution). this will remove any polish which will allow the was or sealant to bond to the vehicles surface better.

Most car polishes will leave the surface clean, but unprotected. Once the car has been polished though whatever protectant you apply to the paint will adhere better. This means greater durability and protection for your paint.

Good tips on waxing car though, it helps a lot. I’d like to know in waxing plus with polishing, does polishing protect the finish at all? All the best!

Hi, Francis. No, Polish (unless claimed on the label) will not add protection. Polishes simply remove blemishes on a car’s finish. The finish still will have to be waxed or sealed afterwards. Thanks for stopping by!

They wash & wax early in the car show season and then use a “water sprite” towel to wipe off dust each weekend (prior to show). Comments?

OMG – F11 is amazing, pricey but amazing. I use it on my vehicles and it is almost incredible the shine it produces. Like a mirror, even with standard factory paint!!!
