However you never mentioned the possibility of rodent attacks while storing the car long during winter. Can you recommend on how to avoid it?. Thanks!

Hello, thank you for your message. No, overtreatment with STA-BIL will not damage your engine / generator. However, we do recommend sticking to the proper dose of 1 oz. per 2.5 gallons of fuel.

Will adding about 7 oz too much ruin my engine and generator?

Hi. Yes, it is actually recommended to stabilize your fuel as soon as it is pumped. This will ensure that you keep the fuel as fresh as possible during storage and/or infrequent use. Typically, fuel starts to oxidize (go stale) in as little as 30 days. If the 6 month-old fuel cannot be utilized or drained as soon as possible, then adding STA-BIL® at this point will help in keeping it from deteriorating any further. Hope this helps. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com. Thanks for the question!

Besides, the condition of different components of the vehicle should be subjected to an inspection and the inspection should be done by experienced professionals to spot and fix the mechanically abnormal components. Besides, a car needs to be properly washed prior to the storage.
