Hi. 303 Aerospace Protectant works well on rubber roofing. However, it is not recommended for walking areas or surfaces that require friction as this product may make these surfaces a bit slick or unsafe. Hope this helps. We have not really tested vinegar-based formulas on EPDM and what effects may occur, so we would rather recommend trying and actual mold/mildew remover such as 303® Mold & Mildew Cleaner + Blocker.
