The main thing is for the guys to lay the laminate in the DRY rooms! Because if you do this in the kitchen or in the bathroom, it will surely swell and spoil. I got it on money .. ((True, it turned out that I only got a couple of boards thanks to the advice from but I fussed all day, bought a bunch of tools and listened to everything from my wife)) So listen to my experience and put the laminate only in dry rooms!

My husband and I are planning on remodeling our kitchen soon. We are thinking of replacing the floors with hardwood, but want to make sure this will be a beneficial investment for our home. Like you said, hardwood floors last through multiple generations making it worth the initial investment. Jenny
