Description

If you own a pressure washer, you must have a method in place to winterize your equipment for the colder months of the year. For example, suppose you let water sit in the pump when temperatures dip below freezing. In that case, you run the risk of severely damaging the machine’s internal components from allowing the water to harden.

STA-BIL Pump Protector is an all-encompassing solution that protects pressure washers for both short and long-term storage. The product contains anti-freeze properties that prevent water from freezing inside the pump. Using STA-BIL Pump Protector also lubricates the pistons and seals inside of your pressure washer to ensure they move harmoniously and prevent the buildup of harmful water mineral deposits.

To use STA-BIL Pump Protector, our experts recommend attaching the hose of the Pump Protector can to the inlet on the pressure washer (where the water hose connects). Next, press the button on the can to disperse the fluid into the pressure washer. Once fluid begins to exit the pump, it is now protected. Remove the hose and store your pressure washer.

For more details on using the product correctly, follow the four simple steps outlined in the usage directions below.

Usage Directions:

  • Attach STA-BIL Pump Protector hose to the water inlet hookup. Make sure hose is also unattached from the other end of the pump connecting to the wand.
  • Press down on can to dispense fluid.
  • Once liquid exits the pump, pressure washer is protected.
  • Remove STA-BIL Pump Protector hose and store pressure washer.
