All three polishing pads can be used with the Rotary or DA Polisher of your choice. They are designed to dissipate heat from the foam, and reduce surface temperatures and risk of damage to the paint. Great for curved and countered panels, as well as for precision polishing in tight areas.
The orange pad will remove up to 1500 grit light to moderate scratches and swirls. This is a dense firm pad to be used with 303 Compound.
STEP 2: POLISHING
The blue pad is less dense than the Orange pad, but still provides light cutting ability and is generally used after compounding to bring the paint to a high shine. This pad pairs great with the 303 Polish, and will remove light scratches and swirls leaving you with a wax, coating, or sealant ready surface.
STEP 3: FINISHING POLISH
If you desire show car results, removing every imperfection possible, and want to stare so deep into your paint that you just can’t find your way out of it, then you will want to complete this process with the third step using the black pad. This pad has no cutting properties, just spreading capabilities. This pad can be used with 303 Finishing Polish to remove light hazing or blemishes. Now your car will have a show ready shine and depth! This pad can also be used to spread on even coats of your favorite waxes, glazes, or sealants.
